The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed tight end Thaddeus Moss on Thursday. Thaddeus is the son of NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss.

Thaddeus Moss is six foot three and weighs 249 pounds. The 25-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, made 3 catches for 38 yards, and one touchdown in eight games for the Birmingham Stallions in 2023 helping Birmingham win its second USFL championship.

The Stallions signed Moss on April 10, 2023. Before Birmingham, Moss signed with the Washington Football Team in 2020. He would also spend time with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Collegiately, Moss played one season at North Carolina State in 2016 with 6 catches for 49 yards, and 1 touchdown in 13 games for the Wolfpack. Then, Moss transferred to LSU (2017-19) with 47 catches for 570 yards, and 4 touchdowns in 14 games for the Tigers.

In the 2019 Peach Bowl, Moss caught 4 passes for 99 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown helping the Tigers win the beat Oklahoma 63-28, and caught 5 passes for 36 yards, and 2 touchdowns against Clemson in the CFP National Championship.
