Former New Jersey Generals wide receiver Alonzo Moore has announced his retirement on Saturday according to Pat Rifino.

Alonzo Moore is six foot one and weighs 195 pounds. The 31-year-old from Winnfield, Louisiana, caught 28 passes for 349 yards, and five touchdowns in ten games for the Generals in 2023. The Generals drafted Moore in the tenth round (357th pick) in the 2022 USFL Supplemental Draft. In 2022, Moore caught 23 passes for 365 yards, and three touchdowns in ten games.

Before New Jersey, Moore played eight games for the San Antonio Commanders (AAF) with 13 catches for 218 yards, and in 2020 played for the Seattle Dragons (XFL) with eight catches for 110 yards in five games.

Collegiately, Moore played five seasons at Nebraska (2012-16) with 60 catches for 981 yards, eight touchdowns, 18 carries for 164 yards, one touchdown, and eight kick returns for 169 yards in 44 games for the Cornhuskers.
