The St. Louis Battlehawks signed wide receiver Darion Chafin on Sunday night.
Darion Chafin is six foot three and weighs 195 pounds. The 25-year-old from Wichita Falls, Texas, was drafted by the Battlehawks in the 2023 XFL Rookie Draft.
Collegiately, Chafin played two seasons at Cisco College (2018-19) making 39 catches for 814 yards, and eight touchdowns in 15 games for the Warriors.
Then, Chafin transferred to Incarnate Word (2020-22) making 156 catches for 2,388 yards, 33 touchdowns, completed one pass for 18 yards, and three tackles (2 solo, 1 assist) in 33 games for the Cardinals. He was named First Team All-Southland Conference, Third Team All-American, and Phil Steele All-American in 2022.
