The San Antonio Brahmas signed offensive lineman Connor Davis on Monday. Davis has also played wide receiver and tight end at both the collegiate and professional levels.
Connor Davis is six foot eight and weighs 277 pounds. The 29-year-old from Towson, Maryland, signed a letter of intent to play for the Houston Roughnecks (XFL) in 2024 but the original Roughnecks were not included in the USFL and XFL merger and the Houston Gamblers rebranded as the Roughnecks where Davis was not drafted in the disposal draft.
Before Houston, Davis played for the Birmingham Iron (AAF) in 2019 making three catches for nine yards in two games, of which he started one. Next, Davis played one game for the St. Louis Battlehawks (XFL) in 2020 before the leagues suspended operations due to the pandemic.
Then, Davis would spend the next two seasons on the practice squads of the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns. In 2022, the Michigan Panthers (USFL) drafted Davis in the sixth round (326th pick) of the 2022 USFL Supplemental Draft. Davis made three catches for 25 yards in eight games.
Collegiately, Davis played five seasons at Stony Brook (2013-17) making six catches for 41 yards, two kick returns for seven yards, ten tackles (7 solo, 3 assists), two tackles for loss, and one sack in 41 games for the Seawolves.
