The Calgary Stampeders signed defensive back Christian Joachim on Tuesday.
Joachim Christian is six foot one and weighs 201 pounds. The 27-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, signed with the Stampeders on May 11, 2023, but was released five days later.
Collegiately, Christian played three seasons at Carleton University (2019, 2021-22) with 76 tackles (67 solo, 18 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and three pass breakups in 20 games for the Ravens. In 2022, he led the Ravens with 36.5 tackles (33 solo, 7 assists), two tackles for loss, and two pass breakups in six games.
