The Houston Roughnecks signed tight end Braedon Bowman on Tuesday.

Braedon Bowman is six foot four and weighs 235 pounds. The 30-year-old from Mesa, Arizona, was drafted by the Houston Roughnecks in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft.

In 2023, Bowman made 19 catches for 210 yards, and one touchdown in ten games for the New Jersey Generals. The Generals drafted Bowman in the 34th round (271st pick) in the 2022 USFL Draft. In his first season, Bowman caught 12 passes for 122 yards, and one touchdown in eight games before a quad injury took him out for the season.

Before New Jersey, Bowman signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent. He also had stints with the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, and Los Angeles Chargers. In 2019, he played for the Birmingham Iron (AAF) with four catches for 43 yards and one touchdown in three games.

Collegiately, Bowman played two seasons at Scottsdale Community College (2012-13) with 90 catches for 1,347 yards, 13 touchdowns, and one kick return for four yards in 18 games for the Artichokes.

He was named First Team National Junior College Athletic Association All-American in 2013, First Team All-Western States Football League, and First Team All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference. Then, he transferred to South Alabama (2014-15) with 29 catches for 381 yards in 23 games for the Jaguars.
