The Houston Roughnecks signed offensive lineman Cam Carter on Wednesday. Carter was released by Birmingham Stallions on February 2, 2024.

Cam Carter is six foot six and weighs 310 pounds. The 26-year-old from Birmingham, Alabama, played nine games for the New Jersey Generals (USFL) in 2023.

New Jersey ranked seventh in passing yards (1,620), fifth in passing touchdowns (11), first in rushing yards (1,342), and fourth in rushing touchdowns (10) in the 2023 season. The Generals signed Carter as a free agent on March 30, 2023.

Collegiately, Carter played four seasons at Murray State (2016-19) making four tackles (3 solo, 1 assist) in 38 games for the Racers.
