The San Antonio Brahmas signed offensive lineman Sam Tecklenburg and linebacker Kelechi Anyalebechi on Wednesday.

Sam Tecklenburg is six foot four and weighs 310 pounds. The 27-year-old from Plano, Texas, signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He spent four seasons with the Panthers playing 17 regular season games and spent the rest of his tenure on the practice squad.

Collegiately, Tecklenburg played five seasons at Baylor (2015-19) starting as a tight end for two seasons making three catches for 40 yards, and one touchdown before becoming an offensive lineman in 2017 playing center. He was named Second Team Academic All-Big 12 in 2018.

Kelechi Anyalebechi is six foot and weighs 240 pounds. The 23-year-old from Pearland, Texas, made 10 tackles (5 solo, 5 assists) in three preseason games for the Los Angeles Rams in 2023. The Rams signed Anyalebechi as an undrafted free agent on May 15, 2023.

Collegiately, Anyalebechi played five seasons at Incarnate Word (2018-22) with 285 tackles (162 solo, 123 assists), 28 tackles for loss, 9.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions for 66 yards, one touchdown, 12 pass breakups, six forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries in 48 games for the Cardinals.

In 2021, Anyalebechi broke the UIW record for total tackles in a season finishing with 130, and was named Third Team FCS All-American after the season. In addition, he was named First Team All-Southland Conference in 2020.
