The Toronto Argonauts signed offensive lineman Nick Amoah on Friday.
Nick Amoah is six foot three and weighs 285 pounds. The 24-year-old from Davis, California, signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023, but was released three days later. In 2022, UC-Davis averaged 35.9 points per game, 191.5 average rushing yards per game, 295 average passing yards per game, and 47 touchdowns.
Collegiately, Amoah played five seasons at the University of California-Davis (2018-22) playing left tackle in 45 games, of which 28 were starts for the Aggies.
In 2021, Amoah helped open the running lanes for UC Davis to rank second in the league with 178.5 yards rushing per game and fourth overall with 407 total yards per game. He was named two-time First Team All-Big Sky Conference and Second Team All-American in 2022.
