The Fehérvár Enthroners signed defensive back Roedion Henrique for the 2024 season on Saturday.
Roedion Henrique is six foot two and weighs 196 pounds. The 30-year-old from Amsterdam, Netherlands, played one game for the Leipzig Kings with one interception for six yards. The Kings signed Henrique in 2021.
He played three seasons in Leipzig making 48 tackles (33 solo, 15 assists), three tackles for loss, eight interceptions for 343 yards, two tackles, eight pass breakups, and two punt blocks in 19 games. He was named an ELF All-Star in 2021 and was invited to the CFL Global Combine in 2022.
Before Leipzig, Henrique played for the Hildesheim Invaders (GFL) in 2019 making 62 tackles and three interceptions earning him an invite to the NFL International Combine. In addition, he played for the Amsterdam Panthers for two seasons.
Collegiately, Henrique played two seasons at Reedley College (2013-14) with 68 tackles (52 solo, 16 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, two fumble recoveries, and 12 pass breakups in 18 games for the Tigers. Then, Henrique transferred to New Mexico State (2015-16) with five tackles (5 solo), three pass breakups, and one punt blocked in 14 games for the Aggies.
