The Michigan Panthers released defensive back Will Adams on Monday.
Will Adams is six foot three and weighs 195 pounds. The 25-year-old from Richmond, Virginia, signed with the Michigan Panthers as a free agent on January 28, 2024.
Before Vegas, Adams signed with the Washington Commanders as an undrafted free agent in 2022. Next, the Vegas Vipers drafted Adams in the eighth round (57th pick) of the 2023 XFL Draft. Adams made five tackles (5 solo) in five games for the Vegas Vipers (XFL) in 2023.
Collegiately, Adams played five seasons at Virginia State (2016-21) making 151 tackles (102 solo, 49 assists), five interceptions for 58 yards, and one fumble recovery in 36 games for the Trojans. He was named First Team All-CIAA in 2021.
