The D.C. Defenders signed wide receiver Isaiah Coulter on Wednesday.
Isaiah Coulter is six foot three and weighs 190 pounds. The 25-year-old from Columbia, Maryland, appeared in one preseason game for the Buffalo Bills in 2023 recording no stats. It was his second stint with Buffalo.
Before Buffalo, the Houston Texans drafted Coulter in the fifth round (171st pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He appeared in one regular season game recording no stats and spent the rest of the season on the practice squad. Next, Coulter signed with the Chicago Bears in 2021. He appeared in three regular season games targeted one time. Coulter also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals.
Collegiately, Coulter played three seasons at Rhode Island (2017-19) making 132 catches for 1,855 yards, 12 touchdowns, four carries for eight yards, and one kick return for five yards in 34 games for the Rams. He was named Second Team All-CAA in 2019 and had seven career 100-yard receiving games.
