The Montreal Alouettes signed defensive back Macon Clark on Wednesday.

Macon Clark is five foot eleven and weighs 203 pounds. The 24-year-old from St. Rose, Louisiana, signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023. He played three preseason games with nine tackles (7 solo, 2 assists) before he was placed on the practice squad. The Bears released him on October 4, 2023.

Collegiately, Clark played five seasons at Tulane (2018-22) with 204 tackles (154 solo, 50 assists), 18.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, nine interceptions for 177 yards, two touchdowns, 18 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 59 games for the Green Wave. Clark was named First Team All-AAC in 2022. In 2021, Clark led the team with 78 tackles and was named Third Team All-AAC by Phil Steele.
