The Tirol Raiders (ELF) signed quarterback D’Angelo Fulford for the 2024 season on Tuesday.
D’Angelo Fulford is six foot two and weighs 210 pounds. The 26-year-old from Cooper City, Florida, signed with the Vegas Vipers (XFL) in 2023 but did not see any action. Before Vegas, Fulford went undrafted in 2020 before signing with the B.C. Lions in 2021 and again did not see any action as there was no preseason that year.
In 2022, Fulford signed with the Orlando Predators (NAL) completing 2 of 9 passes (22%) for 13 yards, and two interceptions in three games, and left after the team had organizational issues.
In the same year, he signed with the Virginia Armada (MLFB) but the league collapsed before the season opener. Shortly after, Fulford signed with the Bay Area Panthers (IFL) on December 28, 2022, but he left for the XFL a short time later.
Collegiately, Fulford played four seasons at Mount Union (2016-19) completing 603 of 896 passes (67%) for 9,482 yards, 134 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, 315 carries for 1,333 yards, 20 touchdowns, four tackles (1 solo, 3 assists), and a half tackle for loss in 45 games for the Raiders. Fulford was a three-time First Team All-OAC, three-time OAC Bob Packard Offensive Back of the Year, and Second Team All-American by AFCA.
