The D.C. Defenders placed defensive back DeJuan Neal on the suspended list on Sunday.

DeJuan Neal is six foot and weighs 190 pounds. The 27-year-old from Shady Side, Maryland, made 44 tackles (30 solo, 14 assists) and five pass breakups in nine games for the D.C. Defenders in 2023 helping them reach the XFL Championship Game against the Arlington Renegades.

Collegiately, Neal played four seasons at Shepard University (2015-18) with 104 tackles (80 solo, 24 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions for 13 yards, 17 pass breakups, and four fumble recoveries in 44 games for the Rams.
