Edmonton Elks sign defensive lineman Jeremiah Jackson-Trotter

The Edmonton Elks signed defensive lineman Jeremiah Jackson-Trotter on Wednesday.

Jeremiah Jackson-Trotter is six foot seven and weighs 240 pounds. The 24-year-old from Las Vegas, Nevada, played three seasons at East Los Angeles College (2019-21) with 52 tackles (32 solo, 20 assists), seven tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two pass breakups, and three blocked punts in 10 games for the Huskies.

Next, Jackson-Trotter transferred to Fort Hays State University in 2022 with 34 tackles (23 solo, 11 assists), 12 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, one quarterback hit, one interception, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble in nine games for the Tigers.

Then, Jackson-Trotter transferred to Davenport University in 2023 with 37 tackles (17 solo, 20 assists), nine tackles for loss, three sacks, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 10 games for the Panthers. He was named an All-GLIAC Honorable Mention in 2023.
