The Tirol Raiders signed defensive back Fara’ad McCombs for the 2024 season on Tuesday.
Fara’ad McCombs is five foot eleven and weighs 190 pounds. The 24-year-old from Passaic, New Jersey, went undrafted in 2023. In 2022 at Columbia University, McCombs made 64 tackles (38 solo, 26 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions for seven yards, and four pass breakups in 10 games for the Lions. McCombs was an All-Ivy League Honorable Mention.
Collegiately, McCombs played five seasons at Columbia University (2018-22) with 127 tackles (83 solo, 44 assists), six tackles for loss, one sack, five interceptions for 44 yards, 15 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 32 games for the Lions.
