On Thursday night, the Canadian Football League (CFL) held its 2024 Combine at the University of Waterloo’s Feridun Hamdullahpur Field House in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Players participated in the combine to improve their draft stock heading into the 2024 CFL Draft. Among the players who shined in his combine was Delaware State running back Michael Chris-Ike. Click here for the full results of the 2024 CFL Combine.
Michael Chris-Ike is six foot one and weighs 225 pounds. A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Chris-Ike won the 40-Yard Dash with a time of 4.51 seconds, won the 3-Cone with a time of 6.71 seconds, and finished second in the Short Shuttle with a time of 4.19 seconds behind linebacker Eteva Mauga-Clements of Nebraska with a time of 4.14 seconds.
In addition, Chris-Ike had 16 bench presses and a vertical jump of 35.5. In 2023, Chris-Ike had 15 carries for 92 yards, one catch for 10 yards, and two kick returns for 34 yards in 10 games for the Hornets.
Chris-Ike played six seasons at Delaware State (2018-23) with 164 carries for 752 yards, five touchdowns, three catches for 13 yards, seven kick returns for 153 yards, and 10 tackles (8 solo, 2 assists) in 24 games for the Hornets.
