The Montreal Alouettes signed defensive lineman Trey Botts on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page. The team confirmed it’s a two-year deal.

Collegiately, Botts played four seasons at Colorado State-Pueblo (2018-19, 2021-22) with 153 tackles (58 solo, 95 assists), 25.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery in 43 games for the Thunderwolves. He is a two-time All-RMAC Honorable Mention team.
