The San Antonio Brahmas released wide receiver T.J. Vasher while placing kicker Donald De La Haye and offensive lineman Alex Mollette on injured reserve on Monday according to the UFL Transaction page.
T.J. Vasher is six foot five and weighs 210 pounds. The 25-year-old from Wichita Falls, Texas, did not play for the San Antonio Brahmas in 2024. In 2023, Vasher made 16 catches for 173 yards, and two touchdowns in nine games for the Brahmas.
The Brahmas drafted Vasher in the ninth round (67th pick) of the 2022 XFL Draft. Before San Antonio, Vasher signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2021. He made two catches for 20 yards in two preseason games for the Cowboys in 2022.
Collegiately, Vasher played five seasons at Texas Tech (2016-20) making 146 catches for 1,983 yards, 21 touchdowns, eight tackles (7 solo, 1 assist), and one forced fumble in 42 games for the Red Raiders.
Donald De La Haye is five foot ten and weighs 172 pounds. The 27-year-old from Limón, Costa Rica, had eight kickoffs for 546 yards (68.3%) in two games for the Brahmas in 2024. The Brahmas signed Haye as a free agent on January 30, 2024.
Before San Antonio, Haye signed with the Toronto Argonauts on May 19, 2019. He played in both preseason games making one field for 16 yards, and one punt for 46 yards. He was placed on the practice squad but was later placed on the suspended list so he could continue to upload videos on his YouTube Channel known as Deestroying. Haye also co-owns the FCF Glacier Boyz.
Collegiately, Haye played two seasons at the University of Central Florida (2015-16) making one extra point, and 106 kickoffs for 6,475 yards, 48 touchbacks, and four tackles (4 solo) in 23 games for the Knights. Haye left the Knights after the NCAA told him to delete or demonetize his YouTube Channel to stay on the football team. He currently has 5.81 million subscribers.
Alex Mollette is six foot four and weighs 294 pounds. The 25-year-old from Suwanee, Georgia, played two games for the Brahmas. In Week 1, he caught a 40-yard touchdown pass from punter Brad Wing against the D.C. Defenders.
The Brahmas drafted Mollette in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft. Before San Antonio, Mollette signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2022. Next, the Houston Roughnecks drafted Mollette in the ninth round (65th pick) in Phase 4 of the 2023 XFL Draft. He played ten games for the Roughnecks in 2023 and was named to the All-XFL Team. After Houston, Mollette signed with the Detroit Lions on August 14, 2023, and played two preseason games. Then, he returned to Houston but the Roughnecks were not included in the XFL and USFL merger which formed the United Football League (UFL).
Collegiately, Mollette played four seasons at Marshall (2018-21) playing both guard positions in 40 games for the Thundering Herd. In 2020, Marshall’s offense ranked fourth in C-USA in rushing yards and produced First Team All-Conference running back Brenden Knox. He was named First Team All-C-USA in 2021.
