The D.C. Defenders signed running back ZaQuandre White and placed him on the inactive list while also placing tight end Briley Moore-McKinney on the injured reserve list on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

ZaQuandre White is six foot one and weighs 215 pounds. The 25-year-old from Cape Coral, Florida, signed with the Defenders as a free agent on March 18, 2024, but was released on March 21, 2024.

Before D.C., White signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He had six carries for 25 yards, one catch for 19 yards, and one touchdown in three preseason games.

Then, White signed with the Birmingham Stallions on January 14, 2023. He had 29 carries for 128 yards, two touchdowns, ten catches for 81 yards, one touchdown, and one kick return for 21 yards in five games for the Birmingham Stallions in 2023 helping them win their second USFL Championship.

Collegiately, White played two seasons at Florida State (2017-18) with 22 tackles (10 solo, 12 assists), and one kick return for 20 yards in 11 games for the Seminoles. Then, he transferred to South Carolina (2020-21) with 104 carries for 642 yards, two touchdowns, 21 catches for 198 yards, three touchdowns, and two kick returns for 25 yards in 21 games for the Gamecocks.

Briley Moore-McKinney is six foot four and weighs 250 pounds. The 26-year-old from Blue Spring, Missouri, made seven catches for 48 yards, and one touchdown in three games for the D.C. Defenders in 2024. The Defenders drafted Moore-McKinney in the fifth round (33rd) in the 2022 XFL Draft. He made 11 catches for 80 yards, and one touchdown in eight games.

Before D.C., Moore-McKinney signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2021. He played one preseason game in 2022 making two catches for 14 yards.

Collegiately, Moore-McKinney played four seasons at Northern Iowa (2016-19) with 85 catches for 1,116 yards, five touchdowns, and five kick returns for 54 yards in 36 games for the Panthers. He was named First Team All-MVFC and best Tight End in the MVC by HERO Sports in 2018.

Then, Moore-McKinney transferred to Kansas in 2020 with 22 catches for 338 yards, three touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in nine games for the Wildcats.
