Winnipeg Blue Bombers sign defensive back Isaiah Norman

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed defensive back Isaiah Norman on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Isaiah Norman is six foot and weighs 206 pounds. The 25-year-old from Memphis, Tennessee, made three tackles (2 solo, 1 assist) in three preseason games for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023. The Chiefs signed Norman as an undrafted free agent on May 8, 2023.

Collegiately, Norman played five seasons at Austin Peay State University (2017-21) with 148 tackles (98 solo, 50 assists), six tackles for loss, three interceptions for 34 yards, one touchdown, 15 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 46 games for the Governors.

Then, Norman transferred to Marshall University in 2022 with 23 tackles (11 solo, 12 assist) and one fumble recovery in nine games for the Thundering Herd.
