The D.C. Defenders signed defensive back Kentrell Brice on Wednesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Kentrell Brice is six foot and weighs 205 pounds. The 29-year-old from Ruston, Louisiana, was drafted by the D.C. Defenders in the fourth round (29th pick) in Phase 2 of the 2023 XFL Draft. He made 25 tackles (20 solo, 5 assists), two pass breakups, one quarterback hit, half a sack, and one interception in nine games helping the Defenders reach the XFL Championship game against the Arlington Renegades. The Defenders released Brice on March 21, 2024.

Before D.C., Brice signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2016. He also had stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, and Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Brice played 36 NFL games all with Green Bay making 100 tackles (82 solo, 18 assists), one tackle for loss, one quarterback hit, one sack, one fumble recovery, six pass breakups, and one interception for 11 yards.

Collegiately, Brice played four seasons at Louisiana Tech (2012-15) making 204 tackles (148 solo, 56 assists), 7.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, three interceptions for 13 yards, 16 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 49 games for the Bulldogs. He was named an All-Conference USA Honorable Mention in 2015.
