Ottawa Redblacks acquire LS Peter Adjey from the Edmonton Elks

The Ottawa Redblacks acquired long snapper Peter Adjey from the Edmonton Elks on Wednesday for a 2025 third-round pick.

Peter Adjey is six foot three and weighs 230 pounds. The 24-year-old from Toronto, Ontario, made two tackles on special teams in 18 games for the Elks in 2023. The Elks drafted Adjey in the third round (28th pick) of the 2022 CFL Draft. He made three tackles on special teams and one fumble recovery in 18 games during his rookie season.

Collegiately, Adjey played four seasons at Queen’s University (2018-21) making 13 tackles (7 solo, 6 assists) in 17 games for the Gaels.
