The San Antonio Brahmas released linebacker Jamir Jones on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Jamir Jones is six foot three and weighs 237 pounds. The 25-year-old from Rochester, New York, made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in two games for the San Antonio Brahmas in 2024. The Brahmas signed Jones as a free agent on December 15, 2023.

Before San Antonio, Jones signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent on May 4, 2020. He also spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Rams, and Jacksonville Jaguars making 20 tackles (13 solo, 7 assists), two quarterback hits, and one pass breakup in 32 games.

Collegiately, Jones played four seasons at Notre Dame (2016-19) with 24 tackles (13 solo, 11 assists), one tackle for loss, and one fumble recovery in 35 games for the Fighting Irish.
