The Toronto Argonauts signed offensive lineman Owen Mueller and linebacker Isaac Darkangelo on Monday.

Owen Mueller is six foot five and weighs 285 pounds. A native of London, Ontario, played ten games for the Lancers in 2023. Mueller has played four seasons at the University of Windsor (2019-23) playing 15 games, of which eight were starts for the Lancers.

In 2023, the Lancers averaged 32 points per game, 443.6 yards per game, 233.1 passing yards per game, and 23 touchdowns. At the combine, Mueller benched 26, a 5.28 in the 40-yard Dash, an 8.15 in the Cone Drills, and a 4.97 in the Shuttle Drills.

Isaac Darkangelo is six foot one and weighs 230 pounds. The 24-year-old from Brighton, Michigan, signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2023 and he later signed with the Raiders. In Las Vegas, Darkangelo made one tackle (1 solo) in one preseason game in 2023. Then, Darkangelo signed with the Michigan Panthers (UFL) on December 21, 2023, but was released on March 10, 2024.

Collegiately, Darkangelo played two seasons at Northern Michigan (2018-19) with 78 tackles (33 solo, 45 assists), eight tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 12 games for the Wildcats. He was named Second Team All-GLIAC in 2019.

Then, Darkangelo transferred to Illinois (2020-22) with 78 tackles (46 solo, 32 assists), 7.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and one fumble recovery in 26 games for the Fighting Illini.
