The St. Louis Battlehawks signed linebacker Drew Lewis on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Drew Lewis is six foot two and weighs 229 pounds. The 28-year-old from Atlanta, Georgia, signed with the Battlehawks on March 5, 2024, but was released on March 22, 2024.

Before St. Louis, Lewis spent the 2023 season with both the Houston Roughnecks (XFL) and the San Antonio Brahmas (XFL) making 24 tackles (13 solo, 11 assists) and one sack in eight games. In the South Divisional Semifinals against the Arlington Renegades, Lewis made one tackle (1 assist). The Roughnecks acquired Lewis in a trade with the San Antonio Brahmas on March 23, 2023.

Lewis signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He also had stints with the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints. Then, the Houston Gamblers (USFL) drafted Lewis in the 31st round (251st pick) of the 2022 USFL Draft. He made 13 tackles (6 solo, 7 assists) in eight games.

Collegiately, Lewis played three seasons at Colorado (2016-18) making 167 tackles (104 solo, 63 assists), 11.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, one interception, and eight pass breakups in 38 games for the Buffaloes.
