B.C. Lions sign RB Jordan Terrell, release DB Denzel Williams

The B.C. Lions signed running back Jordan Terrell and released defensive back Denzel Williams on Thursday.

Jordan Terrell is five foot ten and weighs 210 pounds. A native of Ramseur, North Carolina, Terrell had 268 carries for 1,732 yards, 11 touchdowns, 16 catches for 191 yards, and one touchdown in 11 games for the Bulldogs in 2023. Terrell was 22 yards shy of the Division II single-season record.

Collegiately, Terrell played four seasons at Barton University (2020-23) with 969 carries for 5,487 yards, 44 touchdowns, 39 catches for 320 yards, and two touchdowns in 37 games for the Bulldogs.

Denzel Williams is five foot ten and weighs 190 pounds. The 26-year-old from Rocky Point, New York, signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2022, and attended training camp. Then, Williams signed with the Philadelphia Stars (USFL) on October 5, 2022. In 2022, Williams played one game for the Philadelphia Stars recording no stats. Williams signed with the B.C. Lions on January 17, 2024.

Collegiately, Williams began at Sacred Heart (2016-19) with 35 tackles and six pass breakups in 26 games for the Pioneers. Then, Williams transferred to Villanova (2020-21) with 28 tackles, two interceptions, seven pass breakups, and fumble recoveries in 15 games for the Wildcats.
