The NTT IndyCar Series held qualifying on Saturday and Sunday to set the field for the 108th running of the Indianapolis 500.
Team Penske took the top three spots with Scott McLaughlin winning the pole with the fastest time in Indy 500 pole history of 2:33.7017 seconds at 234.220 mph, while Will Power qualified second with a time of 2:33.9007 seconds at 233.917 mph, and Joseph Newgarden had a time of 2:33.9726 seconds at 233.808 mph. NASCAR Cup Series driver Kyle Larson qualified fifth with a time of 2:34.608 seconds at 232.846 mph.
