The Arlington Renegades signed running back Jeremy Cox and defensive back James Jones IV and placed running back Leddie Brown on the injured reserve list on Wednesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Jeremy Cox is six foot and weighs 226 pounds. The 27-year-old from Hope Mills, North Carolina, signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent on April 27, 2019. He also spent time with the Denver Broncos in 2020 making three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists) in seven games before returning to the practice squad.

Next, Cox signed with the Arlington Renegades on January 6, 2023, but was released on February 9, 2023. Then, Cox signed with the Houston Roughnecks on April 12, 2023. In 2023, Cox had 22 carries for 121 yards and one touchdown in two games. He became a free agent after the Roughnecks were not included in the XFL and USFL merger forming the United Football League (UFL). However, the Houston Gamblers rebranded as the Roughnecks.

Collegiately, Cox played four seasons at Old Dominion (2015-18) with 441 carries for 2,175 yards, 23 touchdowns, 75 catches for 532 yards, one touchdown, and 10 kick returns for 245 yards in 39 games for the Monarchs.

Collegiately, Jones IV played four seasons at Air Force (2017-19, 2021) making 66 tackles (30 solo, 36 assists), two pass breakups, one interception for 18 yards, and one forced fumble in 35 games, of which 10 were starts for the Falcons.

Leddie Brown is six foot and weighs 212 pounds. The 25-year-old from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2022. Then, he was drafted by the St. Louis Battlehawks in the fifth round (38th pick) in Phase 6 of the 2023 XFL. The Battlehawks released him on February 9, 2023, and Brown signed with the Arlington Renegades on March 17, 2023.

In 2023, Brown had 50 carries for 179 yards, 12 catches for 104 yards, and six kick returns for 111 yards in five games for the Arlington Renegades in 2023 helping them win the XFL Championship over the D.C. Defenders. In 2024, Brown had 39 carries for 124 yards and 15 catches for 126 yards in six games.

Collegiately, Brown played four seasons at West Virginia (2018-21) with 620 carries for 2,888 yards, 27 touchdowns, 86 catches for 604 yards, five touchdowns, and three tackles (3 solo) in 44 games for the Mountaineers.
