The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed wide receiver Marcus Rogers on Thursday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Marcus Rogers is six foot three and weighs 211 pounds. A native of Smyrna, Georgia, Rogers attended the Chicago Bears rookie minicamp in 2024.
Collegiately, Rogers played one season at Georgia Southern in 2018 making one catch for 18 yards in 13 games for the Eagles. Next, Rogers transferred to Iowa Western Community College in 2019 making 10 catches for 153 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in 11 games for the Reivers. Then, Rogers transferred to Troy (2020-23) making 25 catches for 331 yards and two tackles (2 solo) in 35 games for the Trojans.
