Toronto Argonauts place offensive lineman Edouard Paradis on the retired list

The Toronto Argonauts placed offensive lineman Edouard Paradis on the retired list on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Edouard Paradis is six foot four and weighs 320 pounds. The 26-year-old from Levis, Quebec, attended the Argonauts training camp in 2023. The Argonauts drafted Paradis in the fifth round (45th pick) of the 2023 CFL Draft. Paradis re-signed with the Argonauts on December 8, 2023.

Collegiately, Paradis played two seasons at New Mexico Military Institute (2018-19) playing eleven games at left guard for the Broncos. He helped the Broncos reach the SWJCFC finals and was named SWJCFC All-Conference Honorable Mention. Then, Paradis transferred to Houston Baptist University (2020-22) playing 21 games playing left guard.
