The Birmingham Stallions released kicker Ramiz Ahmed on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Ramiz Ahmed is six foot and weighs 195 pounds. The 28-year-old from Las Vegas, Nevada, went undrafted in 2019 and signed with the Chicago Bears as a free agent on April 20, 2020.

Next, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Maulers (USFL) in the seventh round (331st pick) of the 2022 USFL Supplemental Draft. Ahmed made 14 of 22 field goals (64%) with a long of 61 yards and made 7 of 10 extra points (70%) in 10 games.

After Pittsburgh, Ahmed signed with the Green Bay Packers on August 14, 2022. He appeared in one game with six kickoffs 370 yards, and three touchbacks.

The Birmingham Stallions signed Ahmed on April 16, 2024. He made 10 of 13 field goals (76.9%) with a long of 46 yards in six games for the Stallions in 2024.

Collegiately, Ahmed attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas before transferring to Arizona State University but did not play for either school. Then, Ahmed transferred to the University of Nevada (2017-18) with 133 kickoffs for 8,385 yards (63.0 AVG), 75 touchbacks, converted 15 of 20 field goals (75%), and three tackles (3 solo) in 24 games for the Wolf Pack.
