The Hamilton Tiger-Cats released defensive lineman Curtis Woodmansey on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Curtis Woodmansey is six foot three and weighs 290 pounds. The 24-year-old from Toronto, Ontario, went undrafted in the 2024 CFL Draft. He is the younger brother of Ticats offensive lineman Coulter Woodmansey. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed Woodmansey on May 17, 2024. He played in one preseason game against the Ottawa Redblacks in 2024 making one tackle.

Collegiately, Woodmansey played four seasons at the University of Guelph (2019, 2021-23) making 32 tackles (14 solo, 18 assists), three tackles for loss, and two sacks in 29 games for the Gryphons. In 2023, Woodmansey made 13 tackles (8 solo, 5 assists), one tackle for loss, and one sack in 9 games.
