The San Antonio Brahmas placed defensive end Tariqious Tisdale on the retired list on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Tariqious Tisdale is six foot five and weighs 285 pounds. The 26-year-old from Lexington, Tennessee, signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. Tisdale made one tackle (1 solo) in two preseason games.

Next, the Houston Roughnecks drafted Tisdale in the seventh round (52nd pick) in Phase 3 of the 2022 XFL Draft. Next, the Roughnecks traded Tisdale to the Seattle Sea Dragons on January 29, 2023. In 2023, Tisdale made five tackles (2 solo, 3 assists), two tackles for loss, and two sacks in two games.

Tisdale became a free agent after the Sea Dragons were not included in the XFL and USFL merger forming the United Football League (UFL), and signed with the D.C. Defenders on January 22, 2024, but was released on March 21, 2024.  Then, the San Antonio Brahmas signed Tisdale on May 16, 2024. He appeared in one game for the Brahmas in 2024 recording no stats.

Collegiately, Tisdale played one season at Northwest Mississippi Community College in 2017 making 31 tackles (16 solo, 15 assists), 11 tackles for loss, five sacks, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 11 games for the Rangers. Then, Tisdale transferred to Ole Miss (2018-21) making 88 tackles (33 solo, 55 assists), 9 tackles for loss, and three sacks in 35 games for the Rebels. Tisdale was on the 2022 Reese’s Senior watch list.
