The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed defensive back Siriman-Harrison Bagayogo to the practice squad on Tuesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Siriman-Harrison Bagayogo is six foot three and weighs 195 pounds. The 25-year-old from Bois-des-Filion, Quebec, was drafted by the B.C. Lions in the second round (14th pick) in the 2023 CFL Draft. In 2023, Bagayogo made six tackles and three tackles on special teams in 15 games.
In 2024, Bagayogo appeared in two preseason games for the Lions but recorded no stats and was released on June 2, 2024.
Collegiately, Bagayogo played three seasons at the University of Guelph (2019, 2021-22) with 49 tackles (40 solo, 18 assists), one forced fumble, two interceptions for 29 yards, one touchdown, four pass breakups, and one blocked kick in 22 games for the Gryphons.
In his final season, Bagayogo made 13.5 tackles (11 solo, 5 assists), one forced fumble, two interceptions for 29 yards, one touchdown, four pass breakups, and one blocked kick in eight games. He is a two-time U SPORTS First Team All-Canadian and a two-time OUA First Team All-Star.
