The Arlington Renegades released defensive tackle Jalen Redmond on Monday according to the UFL Transactions Page. Redmond is expected to sign with the Minnesota Vikings according to MLFootball.

Jalen Redmond is six foot three and weighs 292 pounds. The 25-year-old from Midwest City, Oklahoma, signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. However, the Panthers released him on August 16, 2023.

Then, Redmond signed with the Arlington Renegades on December 11, 2023. In 2024, Redmond made 18 tackles (11 solo, 7 assists), five tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks in four games.

Collegiately, Redmond played four seasons at Oklahoma (2018-19, 2021-22) with 71 tackles (39 solo, 32 assists), 31.5 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, six pass breakups, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 36 games for the Sooners.
