The San Antonio Brahmas are set to release offensive lineman Kohl Levao on Tuesday as he is signing with the New York Jets.
Kohl Levao is six foot five and weighs 324 pounds. The 26-year-old from Aberdeen, Washington, went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft. In the same year, he played for the Frisco Fighters (IFL). Later in 2022, the San Antonio Brahmas drafted Levao in the eighth round (59th pick) in Phase 4 of the 2023 XFL Draft. He played ten games for the Brahmas in 2023.
In 2024, Levao played ten games helping San Antonio reach the UFL Championship Game against the Birmingham Stallions. In 2024, San Antonio’s offense ranked fourth in total yards (2,966), rushing yards (962), yards per game (296.6), third in passing yards (2,004), and tied for fifth in touchdowns (24).
Collegiately, Levao played two seasons at the City College of San Francisco (2016-17) playing 17 games, of which 13 were starts for the Rams. The City College of San Francisco’s offense averaged 42.9 points and 458.5 yards per game.
Then, Levao transferred to the University of Hawaii (2018-21) playing right tackle, left guard, and center in 32 games for the Rainbow Warriors. In 2021, Levao was an All-Mountain West Honorable Mention. After the season, he played in the Hula Bowl in Orlando, Florida.
