The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed wide receiver Ravi Alston on Monday according to 3DownNation. In addition, TSN Reporter Farhan Lalji reported on Monday that the Blue Bombers are expected to place wide receiver Dalton Schoen on the 6-game injured list.

Ravi Alston is six foot three and weighs 203 pounds. The 25-year-old from Lake Elsinore, California, signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on September 6, 2023, and was placed on the practice squad. The Blue Bombers released Alston on May 15, 2024.

Collegiately, Alston played two seasons at St. John’s University in Minnesota (2019-21) making 153 catches for 2,350 yards, 22 yards, and four punt returns for seven yards in 25 games for the Johnnies. He was named First Team All-MIAC in 2019.

Then, Alston transferred to Montana State in 2022 making 27 catches for 398 yards, and one touchdown in 14 games for the Bobcats, which was second-best on the team.

Dalton Schoen is six foot one and weighs 210 pounds. The 27-year-old from Overland Park, Kansas, made 14 catches on 25 targets for 159 yards in three games for the Blue Bombers this season.

The Blue Bombers signed Schoen as a free agent in 2022. In 2022, Schoen made 70 catches for 1,441 yards, 16 touchdowns, and one carry for three yards in 18 games. He was named a CFL West All-Star and CFL All-Star after the season.

In 2023, Schoen made 71 catches for 1,222 yards, 10 touchdowns, and one carry for six yards in 16 games for the Blue Bombers in 2023. Schoen was named a CFL West All-Star and CFL All-Star after the season.

Before Winnipeg, Schoen signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He also had stints with the Kansas City Chiefs twice, and the Washington Football Team.

Collegiately, Schoen played four seasons at Kansas State (2016-19) with 92 catches for 1,569 yards, nine touchdowns, and one carry for four yards in 35 games for the Wildcats. He was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2019.
