The Vienna Vikings signed defensive back Ken Hike Jr. on Monday.

Ken Hike Jr. is six foot one and weighs 180 pounds. The 28-year-old from Decatur, Georgia, made 14 tackles (9 solo, 5 assists), two interceptions for 44 yards, 10 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in four games for the Helvetic Mercenaries in 2024. The Mercenaries released him last week.

The Helvetic Guards signed Hike Jr. on January 3, 2023. In 2023, Hike Jr. made 52 tackles (34 solo, 18 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, one interception for eight pass breakups, two blocked kicks, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, and one fumble recovery for a touchdown in 12 games.

Before Helvetic, Hike Jr. played for the Conquerors (TSL) for two seasons before signing with the Dresden Monarchs (GFL) where he made 50 tackles, had one interception, 15 passes defended, and two blocked kicks on his way to being named a GFL All-Star in 2022.

Collegiately, Hike Jr. played one season at Tuskegee University in 2014 making 10 tackles (8 solo, 2 assists), one interception, and five pass breakups in 9 games for the Tigers. Then, he transferred to Delta State University in 2016 making 16 tackles (12 solo, 4 assists), and one pass breakup in five games for the Statesmen.

Hike Jr. returned to Tuskegee University (2018-19) making 24 tackles (19 solo, 7 assists), two interceptions, and 10 pass breakups in 11 games for the Tigers.
