Tirol Raiders sign wide receiver JuanCarlos Angulo-Santana

The Tirol Raiders of the European League of Football signed wide receiver JuanCarlos Angulo-Santana on Wednesday.

JuanCarlos Angulo-Santana is six foot and weighs 183 pounds. The 25-year-old from Katy, Texas, attended rookie minicamps with the Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks in 2023.

Then, Angulo-Santana was drafted by the San Antonio Brahmas (UFL) in the 2023 XFL Rookie Draft. The Brahmas released him on January 15, 2024, and he later signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on February 20, 2024. The Ticats released him on May 10, 2024.

Collegiately, Angulo-Santana played five seasons at Tulsa (2018-22) with 157 catches for 2,325 yards, 15 touchdowns, three carries for 26 yards, three kick returns for 59 yards, and four tackles (3 solo, 1 assist) in 47 games for the Golden Hurricanes.
