The Toronto Argonauts signed offensive lineman George Moore and defensive lineman Daniel Joseph on Monday.

George Moore is six foot six and weighs 312 pounds. The 27-year-old from Antioch, California, signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2022. He also had stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos.

Then, Moore was drafted by the Arlington Renegades in the 2023 XFL Supplemental Draft and later signed with them as a free agent on January 27, 2023. He played six games, of which five were starts helping the Renegades win the XFL Championship over the D.C. Defenders.

He was then traded to the Seattle Sea Dragons, who were not included in the XFL and USFL merger and was drafted by the D.C. Defenders in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft. Moore was released by the Defenders on March 10, 2024, and signed with the San Antonio Brahmas on April 24, 2024, but did not play a game for them.

Collegiately, Moore played two seasons at the College of San Mateo (2015-16) helping the Bulldogs average 32.4 points per game, 408.8 total yards per game, and 192.8 rushing yards per contest.

Then, Moore transferred to Oregon (2017-21) playing left tackle and left guard in 31 games, of which 20 were starts for the Ducks. In 2021, Oregon’s offensive line helped pave the way for an Oregon rushing attack that ran for at least 100 yards in 12 out of 14 games, with seven games of 200-plus rushing yards and two games with 300 or more yards on the ground.

Daniel Joseph is six foot two and weighs 261 pounds. The 27-year-old from Toronto, Ontario, signed with the B.C. Lions on January 17, 2024. Joseph appeared in one preseason game against the Calgary Stampeders in 2024 but recorded no stats.

Before B.C., Joseph signed with the Buffalo Bills in 2022 with five tackles (3 solo, 2 assists) and one sack in three preseason games. He signed with the Birmingham Stallions on August 24, 2023, but the USFL and XFL merged into the UFL. He was also drafted by the B.C. Lions in the first round (4th pick) of the 2021 CFL Draft.

The Seattle Sea Dragons drafted Joseph in the seventh round (50th pick) in the 2022 XFL Draft. In 2023, Joseph made eight tackles (4 solo, 4 assists), two tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 11 games.

Collegiately, Joseph played three seasons at Penn State (2017-19) with 29 tackles (12 solo, 17 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 32 games for the Nittany Lions.

Then, he transferred to N.C. State (2020-21) with 83 tackles (33 solo, 50 assists), 19 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 23 games for the Wolfpack.
