The Montreal Alouettes placed defensive lineman/fullback Brock Gowanlock on the six-game injured list on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page. Gowanlock was listed as a healthy scratch last week.
Brock Gowanlock is six foot three and weighs 240 pounds. The 27-year-old from Duncan, British Columbia, was drafted by the Alouettes in the eighth round (66th pick) of the 2020 CFL Draft. In three seasons, Gowanlock made four tackles, 11 tackles on special teams, and one fumble recovery in 21 games. In 2024, Gowanlock played two games with one tackle on special teams.
Gowanlock played for the Langley Rams (CJFL) (2015-16) making 33 tackles (23 solo, 10 assists), 19 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one touchdown in 19 games.
Collegiately, Gowanlock played five seasons at the University of Manitoba (2016-19, 2021) making 177 tackles (110 solo, 67 assists), 19 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, four pass breakups, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and one touchdown in 38 games for the Bisons.
