The NTT IndyCar Series held qualifying on Saturday afternoon to set the field for Sunday’s race at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa.
Team Penske driver Scott McLaughlin won his third pole of the season with a lap time of 17.0966 seconds at 188.248 mph. Joining him on the front row is Chip Ganassi Racing driver Alex Palou with a lap time of 17.1582 seconds at 187.572 mph.
