The Toronto Argonauts signed defensive lineman Baptiste Pollier to the practice squad on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Baptiste Pollier is six foot four and weighs 250 pounds. A native of Grenoble, France, Pollier played handball before taking up football for the Centaures de Grenoble in France’s top division.
Then, Pollier made his way to U Sports playing two seasons at the University of Ottawa (2021-23) making 42 tackles (23 solo, 19 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one interception for 15 yards in 16 games for the Gee-Gees.
