Montreal Alouettes sign wide receiver Nathaniel Behar

The Montreal Alouettes signed wide receiver Nathaniel Behar to the practice squad on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Nathaniel Behar is six foot and weighs 204 pounds. The 29-year-old from London, Ontario, was drafted by the Edmonton Eskimos in the first round (5th pick) of the 2017 CFL Draft. Behar spent two seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos (now Elks) with 27 catches for 257 yards, and one touchdown in 30 games.

Next, the Ottawa Redblacks signed Behar on February 15, 2019. Behar played four seasons in Ottawa making 152 catches for 1,669 yards, three touchdowns, and two carries for three yards in 56 games. In 2023, Behar made 39 catches for 334 yards and one touchdown in 12 games. The Redblacks released Behar on February 4, 2024.

Collegiately, Behar played four seasons at Carleton University (2013-16) with 178 catches for 2,577 yards, 21 touchdowns, three carries for 17 yards, three kick returns for 32 yards, and three punt returns for 12 yards in 29 games for the Ravens.
