The Birmingham Stallions signed defensive tackle Demetrius Taylor and defensive back Rachad Wildgoose on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Demetrius Taylor is six foot one and weighs 295 pounds. The 25-year-old from Miami, Florida, signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. In the 2022 preseason, Taylor made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) against the Indianapolis Colts.

Taylor signed with the B.C. Lions on May 28, 2024. He played one preseason game against the Edmonton Elks in 2024 recording no stats. The Lions released him on June 2, 2024.

Collegiately, Taylor played five seasons at Appalachian State University (2017-21) making 137 tackles (67 solo, 70 assists), 46 tackles for loss, 26.5 sacks, one interception for 19 yards, 10 pass breakups, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, three blocked kicks, and one punt return for nine yards in 65 games for the Mountaineers.

Taylor was named a three-time First Team All-Sun Belt Conference. During his time at App State, the Mountaineers went 52-14 with three Sun Belt titles (2017-19), an additional Sun Belt East Division title (2021), and four bowl wins (2017-20).

Rachad Wildgoose is five foot ten and weighs 191 pounds. The 24-year-old from Miami, Florida, was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round (213th pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the New York Jets and Washington Commanders. Wildgoose played 20 games making 19 tackles (13 solo, 6 assists) and three pass breakups.

Collegiately, Wildgoose played three seasons at Wisconsin (2018-20) making 57 tackles (44 solo, 13 assists), five tackles for loss, one interception for 11 yards, 15 pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries in 25 games for the Badgers.
