The Calgary Stampeders released linebacker Diego Fagot and defensive back Rodney Randle Jr. on Tuesday.

Diego Fagot is six foot three and weighs 238 pounds. The 26-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent on May 23, 2022.

He made four tackles (4 solo) in two preseason games before he was released on August 23, 2022. After Baltimore, Fagot was drafted by the Houston Roughnecks (XFL) in the ninth round (68th pick) in Phase 3 of the 2022 XFL Draft but was released before the season started.

Next, Fagot signed with the New England Patriots as a free agent on July 24, 2023. He made 11 tackles (6 solo, 5 assists) in three preseason games for the New England Patriots in 2023.

Then, Fagot signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on February 27, 2024. He played in two preseason games making one interception before he was released on June 1, 2024. The Calgary Stampeders signed Fagot on July 8, 2024, and was placed on the practice squad.

Collegiately, Fagot played four seasons at Navy (2018-21) making 282 tackles (148 solo, 134 assists), 35.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, two interceptions for 17 yards, one touchdown, five pass breakups, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one touchdown, one carry for four yards, and one kick return for four yards in 42 games for the Midshipmen.

Rodney Randle Jr. is six foot and weighs 170 pounds. The 27-year-old from Beaumont, Texas, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on December 28, 2023. In 2024, he made 18 tackles and two tackles on special teams in seven games for the Calgary Stampeders.

Rodney Randle Jr. signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He also spent time with the Tampa Bay Vipers (XFL) in 2020 but recorded no stats. In 2021, he signed with the Montreal Alouettes and played two seasons with 58 tackles, 11 tackles on special teams, and four interceptions in 23 games.

After the Alouettes released him on August 18, 2022, Randle Jr. signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats where he was placed on the practice squad. On January 12, 2023, Randle Jr. signed with the New England Patriots. He made 13 tackles (9 solo, 4 assists) and one pass breakup in three preseason games for the New England Patriots in 2023.

Collegiately, Randle Jr. played four seasons at Lamar University (2015-18) with 170 tackles (120 solo, 50 assists), three tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, five interceptions for 49 yards, 84 kick returns for 1,802 yards, one touchdown, and eight punt returns for 89 yards in 41 games for the Cardinals. He was named an All-Southland Conference Honorable Mention in 2018.
