Winnipeg Blue Bombers place WR Drew Wolitarsky on the six-game injured reserve list

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers placed wide receiver Drew Wolitarsky (Shoulder) on the six-game injured reserve list on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page. Wolitarsky injured his shoulder last week against the Toronto Argonauts.

Drew Wolitarsky is six foot two and weighs 224 pounds. The 29-year-old from Santa Clarita, California, made 26 catches for 326 yards, and one touchdown in 8 games this season.

In 2023, Wolitarsky made 47 catches for 668 yards, and six touchdowns in 18 games for the Blue Bombers helping them appear in the 110th Grey Cup against the Montreal Alouettes. The Blue Bombers drafted Wolitarsky in the 2017 CFL Supplemental Draft.

In seven seasons, Wolitarsky has made 220 catches for 2,887 yards, and 18 touchdowns in 87 games for the Blue Bombers helping them win two Grey Cup championships.

Collegiately, Wolitarsky played four seasons at Minnesota (2013-16) with 130 catches for 1,749 yards, nine touchdowns, four carries for 13 yards, six punt returns for 28 yards, and three tackles (2 solo, 1 assist) in 45 games for the Golden Gophers. Wolitarsky is tied for eighth all-time in receptions (130) and ninth in program history in receiving yards (1,749). He was named Third Team All-Big Ten by the media and made the All-Big Ten Academic Team in 2016.
