The Birmingham Stallions released offensive lineman Armani Taylor-Prioleau on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
The Stallions retain Taylor-Prioleau’s rights should he return to the UFL. According to the X account UFL Analyst, Taylor-Prioleau is signing with the Washington Commanders.
Armani Taylor-Prioleau is six foot seven and weighs 302 pounds. The 27-year-old from Moncks Corner, South Carolina, signed with the Birmingham Stallions on December 24, 2023. In 2024, he started eight games for the Stallions.
Birmingham’s offense ranked first in total yards (3,475), rushing yards (1,347), second in passing yards (2,128), first in yards per game (347.5), and touchdowns (31) as the Stallions won the UFL Championship over the San Antonio Brahmas 25-0.
Taylor-Prioleau Cleveland Browns signed Taylor as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Taylor also had stints with the Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns for the second time, and the Dallas Cowboys. He has played five career NFL games.
Taylor-Prioleau signed with the Dallas Cowboys on November 9, 2022. In 2023, he played three preseason games before the Cowboys released him on October 23, 2023.
Collegiately, Taylor played two seasons at Appalachian State (2015-16) playing four games at right tackle. Then, he transferred to South Carolina State (2018-19) playing 19 games for the Bulldogs. In 2019, the Bulldogs had 1,567 rushing yards (142.5 APG), 16 touchdowns, 2,483 passing yards (225.7 APG), and 22 touchdowns in 11 games.
